Under information literacy program, various trainings have been organized by the Library for students, research scholars and faculties of the University.

Workshop on Read & Publish and Author's Publishing on 12/08/2021:

On the occasion of ‘National Librarian’s Day’ the Library has organized an online workshop for BBAU academic fraternity on “How to Publish Research Articles in Cambridge Journals” via Zoom platform. The article publishing has become a necessity for teaching, research and career advancement for the faculties.

   
Training on JoVE Videos Journal on 22/06/2021:

The Library has organised 'How to Access and Use JOVE Videos Journal' on 22/06/2021 03:00 PM. The GBL has subscribed a collection of JOVE Video Journals for Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, and Cancer Research for the faculties and students of the University.

   
Training on ILMS on 11/06/2021:

The Library has organised 'Training on ILMS (E-Learning System)' on 11/06/2021 at 03:00 PM through Webex Meeting. E-Learning has become necessary for teaching and learning during this pandemic period. As a result UGC has been promoting to increase the e-learning activities in the Universities in India. In this regard the INFLIBNET Centre of UGC has been supporting the ILMS (INFLIBNET Learning Management Service) based on MOODLE.

   
Webinar on SCOPUS Database on 19th May 2021:

The Library has organised 'Webinar/training on Integrating SCOPUS Database in research Workflow' on 19 May 2021 through Elsevier Publisher for the faculties and Research Scholar of the BBAU.

   

Training on J-Gate on 25/02/2020:

The Library has organised 'Training on J-Gate' on 25/02/2020. In the training, total 70 students and faculties were participated. The training covered how to use the J-Gate database for retrieval of information from various online resources.

   

Author Workshop by Taylor and Francis on 09/08/2019:

The Library has organized 'Author Workshop by Taylor and Francis' on 09/08/2019. In the workshop, 65 faculties and research scholars were participated. The workshop covered orientation of authors for writing of articles and books.

   

Workshop on Reference Management Software on 10/06/2019:

The Library has organised workshop on 'Reference Management Software' on 10/06/2019. In the workshop, total 60 research scholars and faculties were participated. The workshop covered how to install and use the Mendeley software for management of references, full-text documents and social networking.

   
Training on effective use of E-Resources on 30, 31 October 2018 & 1 November 2018:

The Library has organised training on “Effective use of e-resources” to all the UG/PG/M.Phil./Ph.D. students and Faculty members of the University on 30, 31 October 2018 & 01 November 2018 at Environmental Science Conference Hall of BBAU.

   
Training on effective use of E-Resources on 23, 27 & 28 February 2017:

The Library has organised 'Training on Effective use of E-Resources' for the Ph.D. scholars of the University on 23rd, 27th and 28th February 2017 in different batches during 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Environment Science Conference hall of the University.

   
Orientation programme for Research Scholars for Grammarly Software on 09/03/2016:

The Library has organised Orientation programme on 'How to use Grammarly, a software for checking of Grammar and Plagiarism' for Research Scholars on 09/03/2016 at 04:00 PM onwards.
